President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Prince Adetokunbo Ademola Ade-John as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Transportation and Mobility.
The appointment takes effect from August 27, 2026, according to a statement on the new role.
Ade-John’s appointment is subject to the terms and conditions of service provided under the Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) (Amendment) Act, 2008.
In his new position, he is expected to support the President in improving coordination and policy implementation across key transportation institutions.
Ade-John is described as a national political organiser and grassroots politician. He previously served as Special Assistant to the Minister of Tourism and is also identified as an APC Apex Youth Leader.
President Tinubu has tasked him with applying his experience to support the administration’s transportation and mobility policies as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
