The 62-year-old made the appeal in a video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, revealing that she has been hospitalised for the past three weeks and urgently needs financial assistance for life-saving treatment.
According to the actress, the medical expenses for the procedures amount to ₦30 million. She urged fans, colleagues and well-wishers to support her through her management and legal representatives.
Nwosu said the decision to seek public assistance was difficult but necessary, adding that her condition had become overwhelming. She also appealed to Nigerians to share her message and contribute where possible.
This marks the second time the veteran actress has publicly sought financial support for her health. In 2013, she battled kidney- and heart-related complications and received financial assistance from both the Lagos State Government and private donors to fund her treatment abroad.
At the time, she required about ₦6 million for surgery. The Lagos State Government provided ₦4.5 million, while additional donations from members of the public helped cover the remaining costs, enabling her to travel to the United Kingdom for medical treatment.
