A beneficiary of the educational support programme sponsored by Engr. Eric Nnamdi Anyamene has recorded an impressive academic performance, earning a First Class GPA in her first semester at the University of Calabar.

Miss Chisom Obi, a 100-level student of Agricultural Science and Education, finished the semester with a GPA of 4.67 on a 5.00 scale, placing her in the First Class category.

In a message of appreciation, Chisom attributed her success to God's grace, hard work and the financial support she received from Engr. Anyamene, describing the scholarship as a major source of motivation throughout her first semester.

According to her, the sponsorship eased the financial burden associated with university education and allowed her to concentrate fully on her studies. She thanked Engr. Anyamene for believing in her potential and investing in her future, adding that the gesture strengthened her determination to pursue academic excellence.

"This achievement would have been much more difficult without your assistance," she wrote. "Thank you for counting me worthy, believing in my abilities and giving me the opportunity to pursue my educational goals with confidence."

Chisom also pledged to maintain the high academic standard she has set for herself, expressing optimism that her performance would continue to improve in subsequent semesters.

Engr. Eric Anyamene has, over the years, supported educational initiatives across Idemili through scholarships and other interventions aimed at expanding access to quality education. The latest academic success adds to the growing number of beneficiaries whose lives have been positively impacted through his investment in human capital.
