Veteran Nollywood actress Shan George has weighed in on the controversy involving media personality Frank Edoho, his estranged wife Sandra, and singer Chike.
In a strongly worded social media post, the actress criticised men who engage in relationships with married women, describing the act as “an unacceptable sacrilege.”
George stated that regardless of problems within a marriage, infidelity should never be justified while the couple are still legally and physically together.
“Any man whose joy stick rises for another man’s wife has committed an unacceptable sacrilege, even if she and her man are keeping malice or facing issues whatsoever,” she wrote.
The actress also addressed arguments surrounding emotional distance and unresolved conflict in marriages. According to her, disagreements and periods of silence are common in relationships and should not become grounds for cheating.
“People keep malice everywhere — in marriage, offices, even between parents and children. Malice is part of life,” she said.
Referencing a past situation involving music executive Mr Eazi and his wife, George argued that some individuals simply withdraw temporarily while processing emotions instead of confronting issues directly.
She further advised women who feel exhausted in their marriages to leave respectfully instead of engaging in affairs.
“If the marriage tire you, after trying your best, please leave the marriage. Doing runs inside marriage is a sacrilege,” she added.
Concluding her remarks, George directly called out Chike, insisting that the singer owes an apology to Frank Edoho and “all men whose wives he has chewed.”
“If you like older women, it’s not a crime, but please focus on unmarried ones,” she wrote.
