Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has disclosed that maintaining his celebrity lifestyle costs him between $200,000 and $300,000 (about N300 million to N400 million) monthly.
The singer made the revelation during a recent livestream with content creator Davrel, stating that the amount does not include the expenses of his wife, Chioma Adeleke, or other members of his household.
“I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month, and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household,” Davido said.
He added that the figure also excludes spending on luxury purchases such as cars and jewellery.
Davido, who is among Nigeria’s leading Afrobeats artistes, has built a global music career with multiple international collaborations and sold-out performances.
