The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced dates for shortlisted candidates in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise to check their status for the final oral interview.

The Board said candidates who participated in the recently concluded physical and medical screening for recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) can now check whether they have been shortlisted.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (retd.), the CDCFIB said candidates who applied under the Graduate Category should visit the official recruitment portal from Monday, August 31, to Wednesday, September 2, 2026, to check their shortlisting status.

Candidates who applied with NCE, OND or SSCE qualifications are expected to check the same portal from Monday, September 7, to Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

The official recruitment portal is **[recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng](https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)**.

The Board advised candidates to rely only on the recruitment portal for information about the exercise, stressing that it does not send recruitment-related emails.

According to the statement, shortlisted candidates will be required to select a venue closest to them and choose an available date and time for the oral interview. They must also print their invitation letters and comply with the dress code specified in the letters.

The CDCFIB warned that only candidates shortlisted for the final stage will be allowed access to the interview venues.

The Board also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and warned applicants against individuals or groups demanding money in exchange for employment.

It urged candidates to rely on the official recruitment portal and authorised communication channels for further updates on the exercise.
