Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, popularly known as Winners’ Chapel, has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s administration over the worsening insecurity and economic difficulties facing Nigerians.
Oyedepo, in a video shared online, accused the government of failing to take decisive action to address the challenges affecting citizens, particularly the continued attacks and killings across the country.
“The president needs to act now and stop pretending. You can’t slaughter members of my family and expect me to pray for you. I will pray against you and your household,” the cleric said.
The bishop expressed anger over the persistent violence against unarmed Nigerians, warning that citizens who have endured the situation for a long time may no longer remain silent.
He also alleged that the government appeared unaware of the seriousness of the security crisis and had not shown the urgency needed to protect lives and restore public confidence.
“I have been quiet for a long time, but the bubble is about to burst,” Oyedepo added.
