A Yoruba actor and comedian, Adeshina Okiki Oshin, widely known as Adeshina Okiki Oshin, has been reported dead, according to early announcements circulating within the Yoruba film community.

The development was first made public on June 1 through a Facebook post by Success FM, an Ibadan-based radio station. The station described Oshin as a filmmaker, actor, and comedian, and stated that he had died, while extending condolences to his family, associates, and members of the film industry, including the people of Okeho.

At the time of reporting, no official confirmation had been issued by his family or representatives, and details surrounding the circumstances of his death have not been released.

Oshin’s reported death has drawn attention across entertainment circles, partly because he had previously survived a serious accident more than a year ago. His recovery at the time had been widely noted by fans and colleagues.

If confirmed, his passing adds to recent losses within the Yoruba film industry, following the deaths of Patrick Okoye and veteran actor Fesogboye Oyewole, a period that has seen multiple figures from the sector lost in close succession.
