The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the death of its Enugu State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Franklin Agbakoba.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Friday by the Deputy Corps Commander in charge of Operations in Enugu State, Kyrian Okolo.
According to the statement, Agbakoba died on Thursday, July 30, at the Niger Foundation Hospital in Enugu, where he had been receiving treatment. His remains have been deposited at the Eastern Medical Centre in Enugu.
The FRSC described the late officer as a dedicated leader who strengthened collaboration with other security and government agencies while advancing road safety initiatives across Enugu State.
The agency did not disclose the cause of his death or provide additional details.
